Delivery of Goods and Services

The goods and services (ie, registration to various events of the conference) ordered through this web site will be delivered as part of the AMTA 2008 conference to be held in Honolulu, Hawai'i from October 21 to 25, 2008.

AMTA 2008 Conference Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received one month or more prior to the conference will receive full refund
Cancellations received up to three weeks prior to the conference will receive the AMTA membership, one copy of the proceedings of each event registered to attend, and reimbursement of all amounts paid above the first $200
Cancellations received within three weeks prior to the conference and all no-shows will not receive reimbursements but will receive the current AMTA membership and one copy of each proceedings of events registered to attend
Cancellations due to governmental travel restrictions or failure to obtain a visa to attend the Conference will receive full refund regardless of when notification is received by the AMTA Business Office

Privacy Statement

All information furnished to AMTA for the conference registration will be used solely for that purpose unless permission has been granted by the attendee to use his/her information in a Conference Participant List or by expressing interest in knowing more about the Association for Machine Translation in the Americas. All payment information is kept strictly confidential and used only for registration purposes.
