Linguistic Engineer for Localization/Machine Translation in Paris, France

Lexcelera’s mission is to innovate translation. One way we are doing this is by continuously improving our machine translation results. We are now looking for a linguistic engineer to be responsible for implementing our MT strategy for large scale localization projects.

Previous experience with MT is not necessary, but an open mind to conceive and test new solutions to deliver ever higher MT quality results to clients is essential. The successful candidate will be extremely organized and methodical, capable of both documenting and following procedures. Responsibilities will include training and supporting the linguistic teams who build the MT engines in the various languages,as well as classic localization activities such as file prep and processing, trouble-shooting, and so on.

This is not a senior position, but at the same time we are looking for that rare individual who combines technical and linguistic expertise with creativity and a desire to find the best solution. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years language engineering experience. Knowledge of Machine Translation would be a definite plus.

This position is based in Paris, France, and European working papers are a must.
